2009 Event Cancelled

It is with much disappointment that I find myself sending this cancellation notice. We have found ourselves out priced from our venue and unable to secure another location suitable in size and affordability. All of our members have made contacts and searched, it seems in vane to avoid loosing the show this year.

The RSCVA is the body that manages the Livestock Events Center and due to our show allowing both youth and adult exhibitors, they have increased the costs 860%. With so little time, we have no hope of raising anywhere near the $3500+ in fees they require. We will, however, begin fund raising now, for next years show so we are not caught off guard and are fully prepared. In speaking with other poultry people, I've heard similar stories so we are not alone but it does little to bring comfort to the sting of this task.

If you have already sent your entries, I will return them immediately. Please attend the other shows and we hope to see you there. Rest assured, we will be back next year and we will be bigger and better than ever.
